Most of us spend our lives buying books that teach us how to achieve a specific goal. Some of the goals include: how to market your business in the marketplace; how to buy your first home; how to make money selling products on the Internet. . .the books titles are without end. Some of the books have price tags that range from $10.00; $19.95; $50.00 to $200. Over a period of time the total amount of money that we invest in buying books add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars.
One day I decided it was time to stop stockpiling books and start spring cleaning. I took an inventory to see which books I could throw away.
I noticed. . . I unknowingly became a book collector. My bookshelf was filled with books with different shapes, sizes, colors and topics. What about the return on my investment? Well – let’s just say, “I have a nice – expensive book collection.” I thought about selling the books in an online auction. But, the books have set on my bookshelf so long it is hard to get rid of them. I’m attached to seeing my books on the self.

While standing before the bookshelf I thought, “What am I going to do? It would take me years to read all the books.” I had spent years creating my book collection; it would take the same amount of years to read them.
I reached toward the bookshelf and pulled out a book about Grant Writing. The book has 413 pages. Then I picked out another title on Business Planning, it has 300 pages, then I pulled another that talked about Finances, it has 200 pages.
More than 900 pages of information:
What If. . .I created a way to eliminate most of the pages, and store the books in my thumb drive?
What IF…I shorten the amount of time it would take to read the stories?
What If. . .I could get rid of the bookshelf and use the space for a home theater or better entertainment system?
